The King Conservation District is a natural resources assistance agency authorized by WA State and guided by the WA State Conservation Commission. Our mission is to promote sustainable use of natural resources through responsible stewardship.


The Weed Warriors WA State Non-Profit Organization provides education about invasive weeds and opportunities for environmental stewardship through educational events, seminars and workshops, and offers "hands-on" restoration projects in parks, trails and open spaces for volunteers. Weed Warriors are proud to produce the Earth Day event in partnership with the City of Newcastle and the King Conservation District.

Association "SEVA" has been "Educating, Demonstrating, and Proliferating" the use of Electric Vehicles for over 30 years.The association is made up of interested individuals, technicians, teachers, EV Business people, and suppliers of EV components. 

 

 


County Noxious Weed Control Program works throughout the county to prevent and reduce the economic, environmental and social impacts of noxious weeds in King County, Washington. The program's focus is to provide education and technical assistance to landowners and public agencies to help them find the best control options for noxious weeds on each site and to reduce the overall impact of noxious weeds throughout the county and to provide benefits to the environment, recreation, public health and economic resources of King County by preventing and minimizing the harmful impacts of noxious weeds.

Puget Sound Starts Here is a partnership of cities, counties, state and federal agencies, nonprofit groups, and local organizations dedicated to improving water quality and aquatic habitat in the Puget Sound region. Our focus is on the streams, rivers, lakes, wetlands, and other waterways that flow into Puget Sound, Hood Canal, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Most participating cities and counties are holders of municipal stormwater discharge permits issued in compliance with the federal Clean Water Act. Many of those cities and counties participate in STORM (Stormwater Outreach for Regional Municipalities), a collaboration of stormwater permit holders working together to meet permit requirements and improve our region's water quality. Many other participating organizations are members of ECO Net, a network of education and outreach professionals, organized by the Puget Sound Partnership, and representing roughly 470 local organizations. These organizations are committed to working collaboratively to protect and enhance the health and vitality of our Puget Sound home.



NEWCASTLE TRAILS
is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit volunteer organization focused on the preservation, expansion, and maintenance of trails within the City of Newcastle, Washington. We recommend trail routes, identify priorities, and maintain a registry of volunteers to assist the City in trail work

Puget Sound Starts Here is a partnership of regional governments dedicated to improving water quality in Puget Sound and our local lakes, rivers and streams. We are a consortium of 57 cities and counties.



Knights of Veritas is a non-profit organization bringing the Earth Day Feature Performance on Environmental Chivalry from the event main stage. They specialize in interactive educational demonstrations of medieval arms, armour, combat, knighthood and chivalry.


 

The Mountains to Sound Greenway connects natural areas, trails, working farms and forests, historic towns and communities, wildlife habitat and recreation opportunities from Seattle across the Cascade Mountains to Central Washington. The Greenway provides easy access to recreation and nature for millions of people in the Northwest, key to the quality of life in this region.
